
Dr. phil. Martina Hubacher is a psychologist and neuroscientist. She specializes in cognitive rehabilitation for multiple sclerosis patients and conducts research on epilepsy in children and adolescents.
Dr. phil. Martina Hubacher studied psychology at the University of Basel, where she earned a Master of Science in psychology with a focus on cognitive and neurosciences in 2010. She received her doctorate in psychology in 2015 with her doctoral thesis titled “Kognition und kognitive Rehabilitation bei Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen mit Multipler Sklerose” (Cognition and Cognitive Rehabilitation in Youth and Adolescents with Multiple Sclerosis). The work was published in cooperation with University Children’s Hospital Basel (UKBB) and the Department of Neurology at University Hospital Basel.
Dr. Hubacher has been working at NeuroCentre Bellevue in Zurich since 2014 and conducts research at UKBB in Basel in the field of brain plasticity in children and adolescents with epilepsy. She is the author of several scientific studies.
